The CAD also gives the gold weight in grams, which is what we use to quote metal and setting labor for your piece.
What to Send for a CAD
- A sketch, a reference photo or an existing CAD file.
- Metal (14K or 18K gold, silver or platinum) and finger size for rings.
- Center diamond: shape, size and whether natural or lab-grown. We can supply it from stock or source or cut it to spec.
- Side diamonds and setting style: prong, bezel, halo, pavé and so on.

From CAD to Finished Piece
- We send the CAD in about 24 hours.
- You check it against the brief; our CAD revision checklist lists what to look for.
- Once approved, the piece goes to casting, setting and finishing and is finished in 4–6 working days.
- Track it in the live order portal; we ship to you or drop-ship to your customer.
CAD Only, or CAD and Production
Most jewelers use the CAD as the first step of a custom order with us. Approve it and we cast, set and finish the piece, with diamonds from our own inventory on the same order.
