How our lab-grown diamonds are made

From seed to finished diamond.

**01 Seed preparation**Thin diamond seed wafers are cut and prepped.

**02 Planting**Each seed is set on a growth disk.

**03 Heating**The disk enters the plasma reactor.

**04 Growth**Carbon builds up layer by layer over several weeks.

**05 Laser cutting**The rough crystal is separated from the disk.

**06 Cleaning**The rough diamond is freed from its growth casing.

**07 Scanning**A 3D scan plans the best possible cut.

**08 Cutting and polishing**Faceted to the planned specifications.
